Could You Have Parasites?

Could You Have Parasites?
What you might not know is that most people have parasites in their digestive system. Creepy, huh?? Most of the time, they are at such a low level that you wouldn’t even notice them. They can be a serious issue though, so if you have any questions you should get checked by your doctor. You can also send a stool sample off to an experienced lab for analysis.

Here are 5 symptoms that can signify that you have digestive parasites:

  1. Low energy
  2. Skin problems, conditions, rashes etc
  3. Difficulty saying ‘no’ or setting boundaries with people
  4. Confusion, loss of motivation
  5. Fever or cramping – for sure see a doctor!
Are vegan’s immune to parasites? Meat eaters or vegans, everyone is susceptible to parasites. They can be ingested through meat, dairy, fruits, vegetables and even salads. You can pick them up from brushing up against someone, stroking your pet, walking barefoot or even from drinking water. There is no way to completely avoid these pesky critters. There are natural ways to help reduce parasites in your gut. You typically need to ‘treat’ for about 4-6 weeks with any natural program. Parasites can imbed deeply and hide in the ‘goo’ in your gut, making them very resistant.

Here are a few natural methods:

Oregano Oil – You can buy this in capsules and I really like the Gaia Herbs* brand. As an extra benefit, oregano oil also helps kill off fungus, bad bacteria, and mold, while encouraging the healthy bacteria in your gut to flourish. Make sure to check with your doctor before taking oregano oil.

Pumpkin Seeds – Native Americans ate pumpkin seeds regularly to help kill off parasites in the gut. Pumpkin seeds are also high in iron, fiber, protein, and healthy fats for your skin and organs.

30 Day Cleanse – There are quite a few parasite cleanses on the market and many may be good. I personally like HealthForce Scram* because of their use of raw ingredients and also the company philosophy.  As with any health program, make sure to check with your health practitioner before starting.

How to Prevent Parasites:

Cooking – Cooking your food thoroughly can help reduce parasites but not necessarily kill them all.  There are specific herbs and spices that can help to kill parasites before and after ingesting them. Clove is probably the top spice, which is why clove buds have been traditionally stuck into a ham when cooking it. Thyme, rosemary, oregano, cumin, ginger, garlic and coriander are some of the most effective.

Topical Help – There are specific therapeutic oils that help kill parasites, viruses, and germs on the skin. A combination that includes castor oil with cajeput, bay laurel, pine and rosemary can be gentle enough for the skin, yet highly effective at riddance or prevention.  Castor oil alone tends to be highly tacky, so you probably will prefer it in a blend. Kaliana Vitality Deep-Release Oil™ contains all these ingredients and more to help kill off the pesky bad stuff and boost immune support.

Do you want:
  • More energy
  • Beautiful, smooth, radiant skin
  • Clearer thinking
  • To be better at saying ‘no’ or standing up for yourself.
Perhaps you have too many parasites, and it’s time to do some cleansing! *NOTE: The author receives no compensation for these recommended brands.
